There is a lot of noise going around about Gang Initiation on Halloween. This is, yes, an urban legend and, yes, it is not true. It is like those emails you get saying there is a critical fix needed to your software, or that there is this terrible virus floating around, and that you should immediatly warn 15 friends about it.
What they do is cause a lot of meaningless emails to be sent, much to the amusement of the perpetrator. In this case the noise about Gang Initiation tonght is that the gangs have a target of killing 35 girls.
Don't believe it. Gang Initiation is a myth probably invented by some teenager having fun by getting everyone upset about it.
